A day at Chinatown

It was a fine evening and my family and I are heading out to Chinatown to visit my aunt. We took a long train ride down straight to Chinatown station. Fortunately, I brought along my nintendo ds hand-held game console to play along to ride, or I would be bored to tears.

When we reached our destination, we saw many beautifully lit up fake trees along the road. After some admiration, we went to eat at a hawker centre near the station, we tried lots of food recommended by our aunt who lived there. Everything was tasty and mouth-watering, I would sure be looking forward to them on our next return.

Then, after having that sumptious feast, we went to shop at the shopping mall just beside the hawker centre. The air-conditioner really gave us a peace of mind as one meal in the hawker centre already caused us to be drenched with sweat. After a tiresome trying of clothes, I bought some shirts and also a few pair of jeans for the new year.
At this time, it was already 8.00 at night. We went for a final desert at one of the streets at the other side of Chinatown. I found this dessert store recommended by my aunt very familiar. I thought long and hard, finally it came to my mind. It was the same dessert store we went to at Ion Orchard! It was so delicious I could not forget it. The menu was the worse part, everything looks so nice I did not know which to choose. In the end, Me and my sister chose the mango ice dessert which was great but it was so cold that we could not finish it.
Finally, it was too late and we had to return home as I had school the next day. We were tired and reluctant but on the other hand was happy and satisfied with our day.
